If you are thinking about grading your cards, make sure you package and ship them safely and securely. Here are some key supplies you will need. You can also drop by your local card shop to pickup most of these items.
Box cutters – A great way to quickly open boxes without damaging the box or the contents in the box. This is a great tool for when you want to repurpose a box to ship your cards or when you open the return box with all of your graded cards. You can buy some at Amazon here.
Semi-rigid card holders – These are a MUST have when shipping your cards. We advise against submitting in top loaders, hard acrylic cases or screw down holders. Submissions received in these types of cases will experience delays in processing and the cases will not be returned with your submission. You can buy some at Amazon here.
Card sleeves – These are a MUST have when shipping your cards. Make sure to place each card in a card sleeve before putting it into a semi-rigid card holder. You can buy some at Amazon here.
Cardboard inserts – These are a MUST have when shipping your cards. Make sure to sandwich your cards between two cardboard inserts before shipping. You can buy some at Amazon here.
Bubble wrap – This is an essential item for protecting your cards while in transit. You can buy some at Amazon here.
Foam wrap – This is an alternative to bubble wrap. Foam wrap provides a little more versatility when packing your cards into different shaped boxes or envelopes. You can buy some at Amazon here.
Heavy duty packing tape – Please don’t use simple scotch tape when taping your box or envelope. You want to make sure the box or envelope is secured and will not rip open during transit. You can buy some at Amazon here.
Bubble mailers – If you are shipping just a handful of cards, you can do it safely with a bubble mailer. This will help save on shipping cost. But make sure to properly protect and secure your cards in the bubble mailer. You can buy some at Amazon here.
